Improvement of surface functional properties by PVD and ion implantation using ionLAB400
Thanks to the Win2Wal Monaco project and its partners IMAP (UCL) and MATERIA NOVA, IONICS develops a new coating which improves the durability and efficiency of powder compacting tools. The innovative process combines PVD and ion implantation technologies. The optimization and industrialization phases start on an ionLABTM 400 machine.
