IONICS present at SMT31 - Mons, Belgium - 5-7 July 2017

This year the SMT31 Conference was held in Mons at the UMONS. More than 150 authors from all over the world was present in Mons this summer to share the latest research on the field.

IONICS was present and represented by our Scientific Director, Dr Denis BUSARDO. Our abstract for wear and tribological applications : "Superficial improvement of metallic alloys by implantation diffusion with multicharged ion beam".

The 31st International Congress on Surface Modification Technologies aims to cover progress on all aspects of surface modification technologies. The conference will address industrial materials (metals, alloys polymers, ceramics, composites, ...) and advanced materials and processes, from the macroscopic to the microscopic standpoint. Producers, users and researchers, engineers and scientists that have an interest in Surface Modification will be brought together for this event, in order to facilitate and encourage, the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas among the community of people that use, improve, develop, research and assess surface modification processes.
